How to get baby soft feet. (:
How to get baby soft feet. The title explains it all. Lol :D

M A T E R I A L S :

`A Ped Egg foot file

`An exfoliating cream

`Shower Gel

`Miracle of Aloe Miracle Foot Cream (All of these items are available at any Walgreen's Pharmacy over the counter)

I N S T R U C T I O N S :

- As soon as you get out of the shower or bath, gently rub the ped egg over the rough areas of your feet. Don't forget to pay a little extra attention to the heels and toes.

- Rinse your feet with warm, clean water. Mix the exfoliating cream and a little of the shower gel in your hands, then massage onto your feet. Be sure to rub thoroughly, especially around the heels, the sides of your feet, and between your toes.

& There you go. :D Something for summer and since it's almost time for school again, there's another reason for this, I guess. :)♥

Tips and tricks to staying fit!

Tips and tricks to staying fit!
Hey Guise. :D ♥

So school is starting and our summer is just about over, but it doesn't mean you have to give up exercising and staying fit, so here's a few tips and tricks on staying fit.

o1. Exercise at least four-five times a week –

granted finding time to exercise can be difficult when balancing a loaded schedule. But if you set aside an hour every other day or so, the results are both physical and mental. Physical activity releases endorphin's improving mood and giving you that “hurts so good” feeling.

2. Drink Water –

Instead of grabbing that Starbucks double chocolate mocha-chip frappuccino every morning, try carrying around a water bottle and slurping on that every time you feel the urge.
Water flushes vital organs of toxins and carries nutrients to body’s cells. The healthy amount of water to drink each day depends on body size and ranges from two to three liters.

o3. Get a Weight Loss Partner –

It is always easier to adopt new habits when you are not alone. Having a friend to talk about your weight loss plan and to encourage you to continue can make or break your fitness routine.

o4. Rest and Recover –

Sleep cycles can often be hard to come by at Tech, but down time is crucial when adopting a new fitness regime. Without the proper amount of rest, the body cannot recover from workouts and will burn out.

o5. Don’t Snack Late at Night –

Now of course there are countless late nights, whether they be merited by schoolwork or by fun, but either way snacking late at night gives the body extra energy it does not need. It is recommended to not eat at least three hours before going to bed. If you have trouble resisting the temptation, try brushing your teeth after eating supper to help curb your appetite.

o6. Make it Fun –

No fitness habits will stay in place if they make you completely miserable. Try to make staying healthy fun by giving yourself small incentives and short-term goals. I too made staying healthy my new years resolution, and created a competition with my friend with a weekly reward (potentially involving money) to help both of us stay focused and on track.

Hope you can take some of these tips and put them to good use. :D ♥

How to eat healthier.

9 months ago - 174 views
How to eat healthier.
Hey Guise. :D ♥

Here's a 7 steps to sustainable healthy eating habits.

o1. Educate yourself. This doesn’t mean you need to know the composition or origin of every fruit, vegetable or grain that you consume. Here are a few things to consider educating yourself on:
Learn what foods are actually good for you and in what quantities.
-Learn about food substitutions if you have known allergies.
-Learn how to cook different dishes.
-Learn how to prepare food to get the maximum nutritional benefits from it.
-Learn about healthy snack alternatives

o2. Start small. You are less likely to see big life altering changes through to the end. This is why it is important to start small when establishing any new habit. When it comes to eating healthier, start with changing one meal, one day or one week. Try this change for a few weeks and see how it works for you and your family. You shouldn't be afraid to admit when something doesn’t work. It’s unrealistic to expect a perfect change the first time around. You should be willing to look at what doesn't work and try something else. Think of one of the obvious eating habits you currently have that you want to change. Do you drink too many soft drinks? Do you eat too much junk food or processed food? Do you rarely eat fruit or vegetables? Whatever it is choose one or two things and begin making a change. Add 2 vegetables to your dinner plate tonight. Drink water, herbal tea or green tea at lunch today instead of a soft drink.

o3. Make a plan. Going in cold and flying by the seat of your pants is no way to establish a good eating habit. If your goal is to completely overhaul the foods you consume then it will be infinitely easier if you start with a plan. Creating a meal plan doesn’t have to be difficult. It can be done using something as simple as a recipe card, notebook or a spreadsheet on a computer. Start by making a list of all the meals your family enjoys. Include healthy mains, sides, desserts and snacks that you became aware of during the education part of this process. Next you can pick and choose what meals to have on which days as well as healthy snacks to ensure no binge eating.

o4. Remove the friction. This is a big one for me. Friction here, is all those little things that make it just a little more difficult to eat healthy. To remove as much friction as possible consider:
Pre-wash fruits and vegetables and leaving them on the counter for easy access.
Package snacks into individual serving sizes to grab as you’re running out the door.
Cut vegetables into manageable pieces.
Keep water in the fridge.
Do as much of the food preparation the night before so you can quickly whip up a tasty healthy meal for dinner when you really don’t feel like it.
Once you have removed a few of the mental hurdles it’s easier to stay on track. After a while these things will become second nature and you won’t have to think about it.

o5. Be flexible. You should avoid making a plan too rigid so as not to allow for deviations throughout the week or month. Decide what flexibility means to your family. Is it pre-cooking a variety of ingredients at the start of the week and using them in diffierent combinations throughout the week? Or is it planning a different meal every night and skipping one if you’re invited out or substituting if you decide to have people over? Whatever it is you shouldn’t get too hung up on the details. Allowing flexibility in your meal planning will reduce stress and make it a lot easier to stick with in the long run.

o6. Have a cheat day. This is one thing that can really help sticking to healthy eating over the long run. Choose one day a week when you can eat whatever you like, within reason of course. If you’re really wanting pizza, ice cream or donuts have them on this day. In the beginning, transitioning to a healthier eating habits can be trying. However, it’s easier to eat healthy during the week when you have that one day, your cheat day, to eat your guilty pleasures. If you choose a day try to stick with it. After a month or so you’ll likely notice the “need” for your cheat day will diminish and you’ll find eating healthy your new way of life everyday.

o7. Many things in moderation. One of the reasons diets don’t often work, is you feel you need to eliminate “everything”. Everything that tastes good, everything that’s fun and all that you really enjoy eating. The problem is that as soon as you eliminate these foods from your diet you crave it even more. Saying I will never eat chocolate or no more ice cream really doesn’t work. When you do eventually have some, which is entirely expected, you aren’t likely to eat a small portion are you? No, you’re likely to binge and eat a whole chocolate bar or an entire tub of ice cream. Everything in moderation.
Establishing healthy eating habits can increase your energy levels, get you feeling better about how you look and feel and just make you healthier overall. Start small and implement changes gradually. The key is to start. Now.

I hope this helped. (: ♥

DiY: Marble nails.

DiY: Marble nails.
Hey Guise (:

Okay, so I'm trying this myself. Wish me luck. Lol Anyways I'm more of a visual person, and if you are to, here is a Youtube tutorial.

Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziUBMEzshgo&feature=player_embedded

BUT Here are the steps, good luck!

S T E P # 1 :

Pour room temperature water into a disposable cup, almost to the top. Open all bottles of polish and place them within reach. Use at least three colors that have a bit of contrast. For example, use a pale shade, a dark shade and a medium shade.

S T E P # 2 :

Drop one or two drops of polish onto the surface of the water. The nail polish should spread out and make a circle on the water. If it drops to the bottom without creating a circle on the surface, try a different nail polish. This color is your base color for the marble effect, meaning it will show the most.

S T E P # 3 :

Drop one or two drops of your second color of nail polish on top of your base color. It should create a smaller circle on top of your base color.

S T E P # 4 :

Continue with each color that you would like to add to the effect. You can use many colors or you can use only two or three colors, repeating each color at least once in the same order.

S T E P # 5 :

Drag the tip of a cuticle stick through the circles of polish to create the marble effect. Begin at the center and drag the tip toward the outer edge. Reverse this for more swirls.

S T E P # 6 :

Insert your nail. The nail polish will adhere to your nail.

S T E P # 7 :

Remove nail from water. Remove tape or use nail polish remover and cotton swabs to clean up any excess polish. Repeat Steps 1 through 7 for each nail.

S T E P # 8 :

Apply top coat and let dry.

I hope you have fun doing this! :D ♥

9 tips: How to get your crush to like you!
Hello :D ♥

Okay, so here is 9 different ways to get your crush to like you. You are more than welcome to try these out if you think they'll be effective. (: ♥

o1: Try casually bumping into them. Add a sincere "Sorry," or something along those lines, and give them a brief smile--don't overdo it, just a subtle curve of the lips. That way they'll know you exist, and you'll make the first impression a pretty good one. Don't linger, just slip off with your friends. Friends are always good to have nearby-- they boost confidence.
-Don't just end it with a bump. Find out their classes, and pass them in the halls, let them see you. They will probably notice you, and start remembering you-- "Hey.. that's the one who bumped into me the other day". Whenever you do see them in the halls, you should let them "catch you glancing at them". This will drop hints-- but it's very important to have a pleasant look on your face. Try to look curious and not stalker-like or too intense.

o2: Always smile and say "Hi" even when you are not close with them yet. It can help to make them to have a little curiosity in their minds and start a little attraction.

o3: Become friends with their friends. This way it's really likely that at some stage you'll find yourselves in the same circle and have a chance to talk to them. Laugh--not an obnoxious, prolonged giggle-- at their jokes, comment on what they say, ask them little questions, etc. Be coy while exhibiting interest.

o4: Look out for possible competition. If another person likes your crush and she/he starts flirting with your crush too, there's unfortunately not much you can do about it. However, don't let it put you off either. They are not your property, and you shouldn't feel threatened by it. Have the confidence that you'll be able to win them over.

o5: Flirt with them. Give them your attention when they want it. Break the touch-barrier, and get comfortable enough to gently hug them or touch their arms when you want to get a point across in conversation. Don't stiff or squeeze hug-- make your hugs sweet and affectionate, but know your limits and don't over-do. Talk to them! Text or call, or just chit-chat in class, make it apparent you enjoy talking with them.

o6: Have some friends around that are the same gender as your crush and him/her see you talking with them-- heck, flirt it up a little bit! If your crush is interested, they'll realize they need to make a little more effort to spend time with you, because you're "in high-demand." Every one feels a little bit of jealousy sometimes. This instinct is inborn. If you focus every ounce of your attention on them all the time, it will be painfully obvious you are crushing on them.

o7: Try to be friends with the guy/gal you like and be nice - talk about things he likes. Don't make it all about you. If you see signs of them liking you don't jump to anything yet.

o8: Try to be very nice to them. Do not play hard to get or be mean to them. Try to give hints that you like them. Don't be shy!

o9: Don't force yourself to act interested in everything he is. After all, opposites attract, not clones!

I hope this helps.. :D ♥

DiY: Newspaper nail art.
Hello :D

Okay, so this is a very interesting nail design and I wanted to share it. I've seen and done and I've attempted it myself.

It's about timing, so I hope it comes out right for you.

Here is just 10 easy steps. GOOD LUCK :D ♥

S T E P S :

1*) To get this trendy newspaper effect, begin with a base coat.

2*) Apply two coats of nail polish--a lighter color works best to get the full effect.

3*) Once your nails are dry, prepare a small amount of alcohol in a little bowl.

4*) Then, find type on a newspaper or magazine you like.

5*) Cut 10 small strips out of the paper that are big enough to cover your nails.

6*) Soak all of the strips in the alcohol until saturated.

7*) One by one, apply the strip to your nail, holding the paper as if you were applying a fake tattoo.

8*) Remember, if you press it on too long, the polish will stick to the paper.

9*) Roll your finger as you pull the newspaper off your nail. The text sticks to the polish.

10*) Apply a clear top coat and you're done!

So have fun doing this. It's not that complicated, just might take great timing and a little patience.

If you want to request anything, just let me know :D
